Job Description
Role: Label Manager
Company: Republic of Music
Hours: Monday – Friday (9-5pm)
Salary: Competitive
Location: Brighton office with hybrid working
Start Date: ASAP
Role Overview: The Label Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of selected Republic of Music labels and Artists. This includes coordinating releases, handling promotional activities, and keeping clients informed about sales and retail promotions.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with labels and artists for physical and digital releases
- Collate information and update sales notes for releases
- Discuss new release options with assigned labels
- Hold regular client meetings to discuss strategies
- Coordinate marketing plans with the sales team
- Manage ROM’s social channels
- Organize manufacturing of physical products
- Work on campaign timelines for digital and physical releases
- Develop digital strategies and target DSP playlisting
- Control promotional budget for campaigns
- Set up products on Universal
- Implement D2C pre-order initiatives
- Provide support in other areas as needed
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in label management or music distribution
- Strong understanding of product setup across digital and physical formats
- Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial planning for campaigns
- Proficient in standard software applications like Word, Excel, and Outlook
