At Coachella on Sunday (April 14), Kesha surprised fans by revising the opening lyric of her 2009 hit “Tik Tok” during a performance with Reneé Rapp. The song originally mentioned Diddy, who is currently embroiled in sexual assault and abuse allegations and a federal sex-trafficking investigation.

In the original version of “Tik Tok” from Kesha’s album “Animals,” the lyrics go: “Wake up in the mornin’ feelin’ like P. Diddy/ Grab my glasses, I’m out the door, I’m gonna hit this city.”
During Rapp’s set at Coachella, Kesha took the stage and altered the lyrics to: “Wake up in the mornin’ like, ‘F— P. Diddy.'” Both artists even flipped the bird during this rebellious moment.
Refusing any confusion, Kesha reiterated her new lyric with a tweet post-performance:
“WAKE UP IN THE MORNING LIKE F— P DIDDY,” Kesha tweeted on X (formerly Twitter) Sunday night.
