Reporting to the Copyright Manager and based in Kennington Lane, London, with the flexibility to work remotely when appropriate, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the music industry.

About the Role
As a Copyright Assistant at Ninja Tune, you will be responsible for recording and composition registrations at various domestic and international rights societies. Your tasks will include registering both label and publishing company (PRS/PPL), ALF submissions, research on splits/metadata and PRO reports/statements, coordinating sub-publisher copyright updates, and maintaining internal copyright and metadata systems. Additionally, you will research copyright data for new music and update/audit internal systems such as Curve (publishing royalties software) and File Maker (database software).
About You
The ideal candidate for this role should have substantial experience in copyright work with good knowledge of PRS and PPL. You should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with a strong work ethic and proactive attitude. IT literacy is a must, with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office packages.
If you have prior experience in basic copyright principles, MCPS, other international collection societies, or within the music industry, be sure to highlight this in your application.
